E-commerce development: storefronts, subscriptions and checkout

Headless storefronts, subscriptions and checkout on Next.js and Stripe. We helped Chunky Academy grow monthly revenue about 7.5x, from ¥4M to ¥30M.

We build online stores where speed, subscriptions and trust drive revenue. Storefronts run on Next.js with headless commerce and Stripe, so the front end can change without replacing the whole platform.

For Chunky Academy, a California hemp brand, we built the storefront, the Lunch Box subscription flow and lab-result transparency, and helped grow monthly revenue from ¥4M to ¥30M. Our founder also led engineering for Japan’s largest flower commerce platform (client under NDA).

E-commerce development

What we build

Headless storefronts

Fast Next.js storefronts on top of your commerce backend, designed around how your customers buy.

Subscriptions

Recurring orders and bundles, like Chunky Academy’s Lunch Box, with clear controls for customers.

Checkout and payments

Stripe checkout, taxes and order flows that stay reliable under traffic.

Trust content

Lab results, reviews and product detail pages that answer buyers’ questions before they ask.

Re-architecture

Rebuilding storefronts and order pipelines for high-traffic stores, as on the flower commerce platform.

How we run these projects

  • Start from revenue data: where buyers drop off and which products repeat.
  • Ship in small releases so conversion changes can be measured one at a time.
  • Keep the stack you already rely on unless replacing it clearly pays off.

Stack

  • Next.js
  • Headless Commerce
  • Stripe
  • Supabase
  • Nest.js
  • Hasura
  • Vercel

Frequently asked questions

Headless or an all-in-one store platform?

Headless pays off when design, speed or custom flows such as subscriptions matter to revenue. A standard theme is cheaper when the default store fits. We recommend one after reviewing your catalog and roadmap.

How do you price e-commerce projects?

Fixed-price projects, time and materials, or a retainer. After we understand your requirements, we send a detailed proposal with transparent pricing.
